Interesting Pia-Gow theory

I was playing at a Pia Gow table with this guy, and he shared with me a very Interesting little Pia-Gow theory.

The betting 3 hands theory:

let me explain this to you. So you can make more money at the table. Lets say you are playing $600.00 a hand and you are playing 1 hand. One of the following three things is going to happen.

A. You will win 100% of your bet -5%
B. You will push 100% of your bet
C. You will lose 100% of your bet

Now let say “C.” happens and you get unlucky and the dealer picks up a big hand like aces full. You are only going to get past a hand like this less than 20% of the time. Keeping in mind you are going to push with straights, flushes, most 3 pair and some 2 pairs.
***Keep in mind if the dealers comes up with a big hand you are going to lose anyway, the flip side of this is, if the dealer has a small hand you are going to will all the bets too

Winning 9 in a row, taking down Las Vegas.

This is a gambling table I made to help people understand, how much money can be made with a small winning streak. I think most people that gamble can recall a memorable streak of winning. So, can anyone that gambles make money? Let’s look at this table.
If you double a penny 30 times, you can make over a million dollars!

1. 0.01 + 0.01 = $0.02
2. 0.02 + 0.02 = $0.04
3. 0.04 + 0.04 = $0.08
4. 0.08 + 0.08 = $0.16
5. 0.16 + 0.16 = $0.32
6. 0.32 + 0.32 = $0.64
7. 0.64 + 0.64 = $1.28
8. 1.28 + 1.28 = $2.56
9. 2.56 + 2.56 = $5.12
10. 5.12 + 5.12 = $10.24

As you can see from this table – That the first 10 for the most part don’t really matter, this is more just to establish that a penny really adds up! Let’s take a look at 11 on, but as you can see, I restarted a one.
—————————————————————–

If you start, for-let-say a $10 dollar bet and double 11 times.

1.   11. 10.24 + 10.24 = $20.48
2.   12. 20.48 + 20.48 = $40.96
3.   13. 40.96 + 40.96 = $81.92
4.   14. 81.92 + 81.92 = $163.84
5.   15. 163.84 + 163.84 = $327.68
6.   16. 327.68 + 327.68 = $655.36
7.   17. 655.36 + 655.36 = $1,310.72
8.   18. 1310.72 + 1310.72 = $2,621.44
9.   19. 2621.44 + 2621.44 = $5,242.88
10. 20. 5242.88 + 5242.88 = $10,485.76
11.  21. 10485.76 + 10485.76 = $20,971.52

*you can see in just 11 hands in a row, and you are starting to really pile up the money!
——————————————————
At this point this exceeds the Las Vegas betting limits in most smaller houses. (casinos) Many people don’t play like this, but maybe you should!

12.  22. 20971.52 + 20971.52 = $41,943.04
13.  23. 41943.04 + 41943.04 = $83,886.08
14.  24. 83886.08 + 83886.08 = $167,772.16
15.  25. 167772.16 + 167772.16 = $335,544.32
16.  26. 335544.32 + 335544.32 = $671,088.64

*you can see – In just 16 hands you are making some serous bucks!
———————————————————————

27. 671088.64 + 671088.64 = $1,342,177.28
28. 1342177.28 + 1342177.28 = $2,684,354.56
29. 2684354.56 + 2684354.56 = $5,368,709.12
30. 5368709.12 + 5368709.12 = $10,737,418.24

You can see under #10, where I added the line, to this point.
A question I friend of mine asked me, after reading this post. Have you ever won 9 in a row? “Yes I have, many times”, but at that point I hadn’t made the commitment to this betting structure.
